Well, I'll leave the rest of that unspoken. I try to encourage people but there are threads that I simply ignore for anything other than moderation needs.

ls (hd1,gpt2) filesystem is ext2.
Im trying to understand why you write this:

the ? in (hdo,?) will be the partition number counting from 1.
once booted back into it make sure the efi partition is mounted at /boot/efi and as root run grub-install

also are you dual booting with Windows?
since you have no /boot/grub/x86_64-efi/normal.mod file you most likely do not have the efi directory installed

Shut your computer off. Install bootable drive. Start new install. When you get to the partitioning, select manual and be sure to delete the data on each partition, delete the partitons and start over. Honestly, you'll drive yourself nuts trying to use grub rescue. The commands are all different and it most likely won't work.
 
Do yourself a favour, you obviously do not have the skill, and Linux experience to even be trying to install Kali, forget it, install an everyday distribution, learn how it works and the terminal codes, then come back to Kali in a couple of years.
