    Glad everybody’s doing alright!

    After a month, I’m back!

After my vacation in mid April I nearly forgot about this place in the rustle and bustle of life (ie, other programming projects). How is everyone?

University Banned From Contributing To Linux Kernel For Intentionally Inserting Bugs

Wow, that’s really “low.” This seems to be a minor incident, but who knows the extent thing like this could go to? Sure, as you guys discussed before the commits themselves were not malicious. Think about it this way, would you give someone food that could mildly poison someone, then take it...

    Unix-Like Systems Discussion

Quite recently I found myself thinking about other Unix-like operating systems. I actually have never tried or even thought about trying such after an operating system development kit called “Cosmos” piqued my interest (maybe I’ll use it, I want to focus on my Linux distro first). Previously...

CPU level security threat. How can we protect ourselves?

@bytestream, @KGIII has a point. If you aren’t too fond of the Pi then maybe go with openRISC. Looks like a lot of applications don’t run on there judging by the photos, but I could be wrong.

CPU level security threat. How can we protect ourselves?

I believe the threat is an x86 issue. If I am correct the Pi4 is an ARM64.

What do Linux users want in a Linux game/application?

I don't think I have the skill to make that, but I will look into it! Judging by your previous posts it looks like something you would want to make. If you'd like to collaborate that would be fun! @LorenDB has made the same offer (presumably more than once).

What do Linux users want in a Linux game/application?

Yeah. Usually when I create GitHub repos I contain source code and a built version. I don't exactly have any specific application in mind at the moment, but once I create something moderately useful I'll definately put it out there!

What do Linux users want in a Linux game/application?

Makes sense. I've been working on chopping down an Android application I was building for fun. I got it down to 15mb but that might still be a bit bloated.

How to install kali linux on macbook pro 2017 13 inch touchbar model

A rather interesting choice for a Linux distro, especially for customization. I hope you enjoy it! What installation method will you be using? The two most popular are live USB and on the hard disk, I doubt Mac would support anything else anyways.

    Share your browser add-ons

I’ll definitely be adding some of these and many included in these posts to my FireFox installation! Thanks @f33dm3bits !

What do Linux users want in a Linux game/application?

Hi! I probably haven’t talked about this much, but I do dabble in game/app development. I haven’t exactly published anything yet but I hope to do that in the future. Point aside, I have been moved by this community to develop something in Unity for Linux. Say I, or many of the developers out...

getting Error while running python script

Try installing the necessary libpython packages. I’m unsure if they are packaged with dev-python, but the error wants libpython.

    ISO Image Making Tools?

Here are the ones I know of: • Remastersys: Outdated, use the fork Linux Respin instead. • Linux Respin: What I’m using to create my Linux Disro. • Clonezilla: Just backs up your installation to put it simply. • Calamares: You probably don’t want this though judging by your post, and I don’t...

CPU level security threat. How can we protect ourselves?

Probably a bit late to reply to this post, but you have a very good point. But I have some input, feel free to disregard or disagree. :) Statistically, the odds are in your favor that you won't crash and burn. But human lives, similar to our data, are important. But will we walk 2,000 miles to...
