What browser do you use

Chrome, Chromium, and Vivaldi.

I use different browsers for different groups of tasks.

I have others installed, including the beta version of Microsoft's Edge. I just haven't uninstalled it yet. It's not very interesting and doesn't have any compelling features that matter to me.

Firefox and as alternative I have Chromium installed.

With Linux I use Firefox.

With Windows 10 the new Edge.

I've used Chromium and Google Chrome and they're OK h

Tor, Chromium, Waterfox, vivaldi , Icecat, seamonkey waterfox .Mostly using waterfox at prersent ; i get a few odd are you a robot, click traffic lights ... if I use waterfox and go to google.com to search. DuckDuck Go doesn't give me the comprehensive results sometimes compared to Google

Chrome, which I use maybe once every few months, mainly to remind myself why I don't use it regularly.
Chromium, a standby for some web pages that just show better.
Firefox ESF and Firefox just fer.
Opera with VNC enabled for those out of house experiences and I've got it set as my default browser - currently.
I've got a few addons for filtering scripts and cookies, plus I use the hosts file to block ads. I've also got each one's security settings maxed. The hosts file doesn't work on Opera with the VNC but does wonders with all the other browsers.
I get those "Are you a bot"? quizzes alla the time.
BTW, LMDE is my home runner, no MS luggage allowed here.

Wasn't there another thread like this one somewhere?

Maybe a moderater could merge them...

I think there was another thread like this one because I couldn't find my post.

I use Chrome, and sometimes Vivaldi. But as I could understand already, it's more important what websites do you use, and how they were developed, if we talk about speed of loading. Talking of websites, and how developers build them, you can visit this link ( https://www.talenteria.com/ ) to discover some great site building portfolio works, and understand how developers can help with that.

You obviously don't know about the man in the middle attacks on Tor in the past.

Nothing is bulletproof these days and never was.

Don't forget Tor timing attacks and end-nodes may be compromised.

On my Android phone:
Privacy browser - I use this most of the time. It is available if you install F-Droid on your phone.
Other than that, I also install DuckDuckGo, Brave browser.

On my laptop, I use different browsers for different purposes. I use Ubuntu by the way:
Online banking - Firefox. I set to forget all history and stay in private mode.
Forums, Reddit - Brave browser. I stay login into forums.
Youtube - Vivaldi with Ghostery, Privacy Badger, Cookie Autodelete plugins. I stay login into Youtube.
For VPN - I use Opera because it comes with a free VPN. I use it to browse some websites that cannot be accessed from my country.

I set DuckDuckGo to be the default search engine for all browsers. If I want to use Google search, I use Firefox because it allows me to select search engines on the search bar.

I tried Chrome years ago and then ditched it later on because I didn't like it.

Me too!

I use different browsers for different groups of tasks.

To me, it just makes sense. I'd otherwise have way too many tabs open in a single browser. I have all the major browsers installed and some of the less-popular browsers installed. I really only use a few of 'em.

It's a great way to keep things organized.

Firefox, with a few, choice add-ons, plus w3m for browsing in the terminal.

When I’m working on something in the terminal - if I switch to a graphical browser, there’s a good chance I’ll end up procrastinating, or wasting time. Completely breaking my workflow.

But if I do a web-search from the terminal - I’m more likely to stay on task.

Matsu, the VPN FREE are not gift!!! they collet your data to give Google & C. to take MONEY!!!
I have used Opera with free VPN... afte 1 year, hodapi wrote me °stop torrent° or 1600€ taxe!!!!

Yes, I know that. It is stated in the Opera privacy policy. But I have no choice because I don't use the VPN often, I use it sometimes only, so there's no need to pay for a VPN. I use Opera in private browsing mode and don't log in to my Google account. The browsers I use the most are Brave and Firefox.
