Translation of Italian

Thanks to everyone for your help as I can't solve this problem

Welcome to linux.org @monosimone

Please use English, we don't speak Italian - Google Translate perhaps.

Per favore scrivi in inglese, non parliamo italiano

Soemone will be along sooner or later.

Try a dash, not a tilde.

It's right there in the information that it's giving you.

You should not be using Kali. Kali is for advanced users. You are not an advanced user, as is made evident with the problem you're having.

Spend a year or two learning to use Linux and then try Kali.

Aircrack-ng is a wifi cracker program. It is pre-installed in both Kali 2021.1 and Backbox Linux 7. I figure out that BB Linux is much easier to use than Kali. If you are using Ubuntu, you can install it from the Synaptic Package Manager.

I don't. I don't expect you to use it at all.

I expect you to learn to use Linux and then tackle things like Aircrack-ng. Right now, you can't even spell it right. It's 'aircrack-ng' (when you try to install it or when it has been installed and you want to use it from the terminal).

This is very beginner stuff. It's stuff you should have learned in your first day of using Linux.

Literally, almost every distro out there is better for you than Kali. If you must use aircrack-ng, then install a distro that's good for beginners (use a search engine to find and pick one) and then just install aircrack-ng on that distro.

It's in the repos. This is for Lubuntu 20.04.

Code:
search aircrack-ng
aircrack-ng - wireless WEP/WPA cracking utilities
airgraph-ng - Tool to graph txt files created by aircrack-ng
kismet-plugins - wireless sniffer and monitor - plugins
mdk4 - Wireless attack tool for IEEE 802.11 networks
wifite - Python script to automate wireless auditing using aircrack-ng tools

And, no... I'm not being mean. I'm being honest. Kali is a pain in the butt and you need to understand Linux before you can effectively use Kali. Somewhere on their site, Kali devs point this out. Using Kali doesn't make you a leet haxor. Understanding how things work makes you a leet haxor.

Ouch! :D

Probably so. But sometimes the truth hurts!

Ouch wasn't my intent.

I don't want to get too far off topic, but Kali kinda irks me. Newbies try it, thinking they're going to be 1337 h4x0rz and can't get it working well so they end up with a bad taste in their mouths whenever they think about Linux.

Kali used to make it much, much more clear that not only should you not use it as a newbie, you shouldn't try to use it as your daily OS. Amazingly enough, those two things are what generate the most Kali support issues.

This user doesn't know that - is not ~ and that spaces aren't normal for installing software and that it's case sensitive. They should not be using Kali.

But yeah, in hindsight, 'ouch'!
