Hello,

I just start using Linux - ZORIN 15 Lite - and I'm very happy with it.
I have just one problem with using my Epson printer and scanner.
It was recognized by the system when plugged via Usb and is printing OK.
The problem is with the maintenance of the ink cartridges when they need replacement.
The scanner is other thing that I still could not put to work!
Any help would be appreciated and crucial for not to have to rollback to Windows.
Thanks,

Carlos

Hi, maybe there are no compatible drivers for your printer on Linux. I'm assuming your printer worked fine before moving to linux from Windows. Personally I had this same problem when I first started to use Linux. My internet dongle worked perfectly fine on windows but it didn't on linux. So, in this case, you can dual boot your computer with windows and then use windows only for your printing works

To check the cartridge see the picture there is a LED light that comes on when cartridge is empty

Have you tried here for scanner driver for Linux - https://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/...CCHK=f2a17cf04158f79225363e24d3e347684bd1de6d

Just further info Zorin 16 Core is out - I also attached the Manual if you want it
