If you go through the Kali sub-forum, you might notice a common theme. As near as I can tell, the vast majority of the posts in that sub were moved there by a moderator.

Which leads me to this...

If you're unable to figure out where to post Kali threads, perhaps you're not really ready to be using Kali? If you can't figure that out, you're not gonna be able to figure out how to use the tools Kali was made for.

Eminently true.

It seems to me that it's a rare post in that sub-forum that wasn't moved there by mods/admins.

'Snot all that hard to look at the forum names when you're creating a new thread. They're right there in a handy drop-down menu. It's not like it's a confusing layout or a tedious process. It's literally pointing and clicking.

Also being the reason why I started replying with unhelpful answers.
I have a problem when I turn on the computer, the system does not work and a message appears busybox v1.35.0
Some issues about booting Kali Linux
I personally think we should scrap the Kali sub-category of the forum. People who have enough Linux experience will be able to figure out their own problems when they run into issues with Kali. If they have a question about a specific Kali-tool they will go to the official Kali forums. All the Kali posts here mostly beginner type questions, people who shouldn't be even using Kali in the first place.

And they are the type of question the Kali forum members just ignore,
@KGIII & @wizardfromoz , have you also noted how many of them never come back when we point out they need to be Linux competent before they try to install.

Why they think they can or even want to use it is beyond me.
They don't want to learn Linux, they want to "learn how to hack".

I think the same way about the more advanced user GNU/Linux distributions. For example I am not going to respond to someone asking a Linux beginner question about Arch, if a person is using such a distribution I expect them to have a basic understanding of how GNU/Linux works. Most people who use Arch( or Gentoo) are actually interested in GNU/Linux and do the work themselves but there are some who just want to run Arch for the sake of running Arch(and for the meme) and don't want to do the work themselves.

But but I just want all of my computer buds to think I'm a big time Hacker that's why I want to use Kali Linux Please help me to get Kali working.

Probably shouldn't do that. It'd probably be better to just ignore them. ;)

If we did that, they'd still post - we'd just not have a forum to move their posts to.

Yup. Maybe they gave up?

Please help me to get Kali working.

You've been at it long enough. You could probably make Kali work for you - but I dunno if you really want to. But, I suspect you'd be able to figure it out.

If only have had an option to ignore a whole forum sub-category like your have the option to ignore users, that would make it easier to ignore. :)

Yeah, you gotta use the ignore button in your head and just scroll on by.

Being able to ignore a sub-forum would be great. I can't ignore anyone or anything. I generally only reply to Kali questions to inform the OP that I've moved their thread to the right sub-forum.

It is for advanced users - as such the person using should have knowledge to use it. I have come across a lot of forums where there is a "Kali forum thing" . You gotta wonder what their motivation is to use Kali.

At the end of the day what has been said here about using something like Debian, MXLinux etc with the same tools would work equally as well. There is a Kali Forum if they really want to use Kali Linux.

Spot on as far as I am concerned

While Kali does mention that sort of thing on the site, they could probably do a bit better at making it known that Kali isn't for people new to Linux, but rather tools for people experienced with Linux and things like penetration tools.

He was joking, David.

I think that most of those questions are coming from kids that watched Mr. Robot and they not only want to use Linux, but also look cool.

I don't even think they want to learn how to h4ck.
