How to Start Latte Dock Automatically on Each Reboot?

Using Feren OS hassium with KDE plasma version 5.24.3 and the Latte Dock on Desktop. Seems like after an Update, Latte dock stopped starting up on each reboot, even though the settings are enabled (see screenshot). How to enable it? Is there a cronjob that I can add, as a terminal command, to...

SOLVED: Feren OS stuck in a login loop

Thanks, Ctrl+Alt+F4 did the trick to give me access to the terminal. Then just running an update fixed the login loop. But somehow, after I log in, it seems like a brand new system, with all my customised themes, icons, wallpapers etc. gone. It looks like a brand new install from the ISO...

SOLVED: Feren OS stuck in a login loop

How can I get the terminal when all I have is the login screen? Is there any keystroke that would take me to the terminal bypassing the desktop itself?

Yes, normal system upgrade. Is there a way to repair the damage?

SOLVED: Feren OS stuck in a login loop

Using Feren OS Hassiun on Dell XPS laptop on Intel processor. The system was working fine till yesterday, but all of a sudden (likely after a normal update) I am stuck in a login loop. I enter the password after boot up, the screen goes blank and the same login screen reappears instead of the...

What does it mean when they say Feren OS is a rolling distribution?

Thanks a lot for your advice. Actually, I was a Mint user for sometime before Feren. As I got a new laptop from my company, I just wanted a change of scenery and was recommended Feren by a colleague. I did not come to Feren looking for anything particular, most of my user experience is the same...

What does it mean when they say Feren OS is a rolling distribution?

I am a noob linux user, on Feren OS. This is how my update script looks like (which runs as an anacron job with root privilege once in a while, and all other automatic updates from the GUI are turned off). apt-get --assume-yes --fix-missing update apt-get --assume-yes upgrade apt-get...

How to Remove the Analogue Clock from Latte Dock

This is it.Thanks for helping. For me, it does not read Dock Settings, but Edit Dock. But I could find a way to rearrange the widgets. By the way, to answer your question, I am using lattedock 0.10.2 on Feren OS Gallium.

How to Remove the Analogue Clock from Latte Dock

There is no option to remove analog clock. For all other items on the dock, there is an option to unpin them, which is absent for analog clock as well.

How to Remove the Analogue Clock from Latte Dock

Ctrl+Right Click does nothing. When I go to configure latte dock (do not know if that is what you mean by settings menu) I see no option as such.

How to Remove the Analogue Clock from Latte Dock

Using latte dock 0.10.2 on Feren OS Gallium. I notice that there is an analog clock towards the right of the dock by default, which I cannot remove. When I right click on other launchers, I always get an option to unpin them, but not from the clock. Even after browsing through other settings, I...

Which distribution is most visually similar to Garuda but using Ubuntu Core?

Thanks a lot, the only thing missing are the sticky windows animation when I drag them, and how the terminal or any window turns transparent at the same time. Cannot seem to find an easy way to do this in KDE neon.

Which distribution is most visually similar to Garuda but using Ubuntu Core?

I am myself a long term Linux Mint user of intermediate proficiency. But recently I just tried Garuda linux KDE dragonised from a live USB and it blew my mind. I would wish to switch right away, if not because of my impression (reading from some possibly biased sources) that every update can...

Are Fish and Bash the Same Except the GUI Layer?

Using Linux Mint Ulyana as my daily driver. But recently I tried Garuda, and above all, I was blown away by its amazing shell that popped up when I pressed Ctrl+Alt+T. I got to know it is called the fish shell. The thing is, even in mint, I am using a different shell called Tilix from...

Best Ubuntu Based Distribution/DE for Dell Touch Screen

I will be getting a new Dell XPS 15 notebook with 15.6" UHD+ (3840 x 2400) InfinityEdge Touch and 11th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i9. Having never used a touch screen on Laptops before, I am trying to figure out which popular Debian/Ubuntu derivative works best with touch, and if anyone has...
