Good morning , Bluetooth is working in a roundabout sort of way . Unable to get the headphones to automatically lock when switched on and the xfce does not detect any device on startup , at least using the graphical interface Blueman . The only way at the moment for the Bluetooth icon to...

The headphones are not in sound settings , although successfully paired.

There`s no icon, using xfce .Will logout and enter Ubuntu desktop and see if one is there.

Very close to solving this anomaly , but Adapter and Device are greyed out.

I will get my headphones and see if they work. Still no icon showing.

Ok f33dm3bits, i understand , but managed to get another USB Bluetooth working in virtualbox 5.22 . It is version 4.0 but installed 14.04, 16.04 ,18.04 and 20.10 and all worked out of the box in vm. At the moment installing debian with multiple desktops and will see if this USB dongle...
