    Yeah there was something wrong with my connection. I was just about to post an update UPDATE: I disabled my VPN and tried updating through the discover app instead, the connection was really slow, but eventually it updated all the firmware and everything seems to be back to normal

    Even though the OS is running fine, I did find it peculiar that there were no apt updates since I installed the OS on 9-28, and even then when I tried to update after a fresh install, apt said that everything was up to date. This is the first distro I've used (including other debian versions)...

    OH, lol, yeah I just installed Debian 11 with plasma desktop, though before that I was using Pop OS 22.04, so I had that version number on repeat by mistake
