I've just restarted my PC (not for the first time since the WiFi started working) and all the old symptoms are back

UPDATE:
I left my PC to run some things overnight.
There had been a generator test that I wasn't aware of and so when I came in my PC was off. I booted it up and the WiFi was working.
I'm not sure what worked, but something did!

I tried this as a live user, but there's still no available driver according to ~$ inxi -Fxxz. There are no additional drivers available in Software and Updates
This thread seems to suggest upgarding to Ubuntu 21.10, at least Kernel 5.15 and disabling secure boot. I've done these three things. Is there something that I missed?
