I found a helpful webpage by Matt Gadient which uses a little program called isomacprog to create an install ISO to burn to DVD that boots in 32 bit and installs 64 bit Linux OS. Works great! https://mattgadient.com/linux-dvd-images-and-how-to-for-32-bit-efi-macs-late-2006-models/
