Ok, I think you don't understand me. Maybe there is a way to make persistent live os, change settings etc and then make this persistence read-only? I need live OS with just a little tweaks like wallpaper, position of icons and taskbar.

I need to make a flash drive with a live version of Linux. The problem is that I would like to change some settings in the system. I've tried using distroshare ubuntu imager, I've managed to install applications but when I turn on live the default settings are applied (wallpaper, taskbar etc)...
