Just installed cinnamon, All good on install.
Was previously on windows 10.
I had an Ebay wifi aerial that worked perfectly.
When first used 6 months ago on windows, proceedure to get it running was,
plug in aerial (USB3)
put in mini disc , which opened 3 boxes, Windows, Mac, Linux.
Pick/click one, instalation took about a minute
Now with new Linux install installation disc opens page upon page of geek speak.
No identifyable way to get it to recognise Linux
(I'm 74, this is uninteligible to me. )
Connection icon says "Wired- cable unplugged"
"Network proxy- none"
I have not had a wired connection for years, so can't go there.
Is there a simple click on instalation I can download here (on my secong windows 10 computer) and carry over or is it just easier to buy another Wifi areial that gives me the choice of 3 boxes to click?,
Thanks in advance.
