Update: I was looking at a review for Redcore earlier, and while I can customize it to my liking, it seemed too basic for me (and I'm not saying that in a bad way). After checking out other distros, Artix seems like a more interesting option.

I thought you liked systemd for bringing more standardization to Linux? With systemV all the startup scripts were just bash scripts and you could could write it however it seemed fitting to you, I have no experience with Openrc though. Are you going to for an Artix installation with SystemV or Openrc?

While I still do support standardization in Linux, I originally thought that meant homogenization. @JasKinasis made me understand the difference between those two. I'm not too familiar with any init system because knowing how things like that work is difficult for me to digest. That doesn't mean I'm not willing to learn more about it though.
