    oh i c...opensource drivers meant "xorg".....ok... When "boot normally" the [email protected] turns [email protected] STANDBY MODE, but i think the OS successfully loaded, bcs i can via keyboard pressed (POWER button, then press ENTER button) to SHUTDOWN successfully the sys, without any display on...

    ehh... Last issues, was about, OS upgrade failure... due to "missing closing quote" in grub (now solved, & a BIG tq to u all)... But, what i am highlighting NOW, is really happening.. Maybe, i will try purge the "proprietary" NVIDIA graphics drivers & reinstall with Linux "generic" video...

    ehh... 1) There is NO DIRECTORY "/etc/default/grub" to upload....? 2) There is grub, but it aint dir (is a plain text file) 3) There is DIRECTORY "/etc/default/grub.d", but now, there are WITHOUT DIRECTORIES, only 1 single file inside (50_peppermint.cfg)? 4) Environment (chroot) locked?
