    Test made me dizzy! Like wow, all those to do lists. In firefox, it didn't seem to make a difference whether or not i had the adblocker turned off (no script is off by default), and of course chrome was faster (14.9 score vs. 8.94 - 9.27).

    That's the thing though, DVDs have been replaced already, but they are cheap. There are factors than how desirable something is. For example, it would take a very long time to replace the internet.

    Doesn't seem to be a problem so far: open source licenses are structured in such a way that anyone could do it.

    That has nothing to do with my question. But the whole "there are a lot of people" the trick. I do appreciate that nobody trusts statistics, but it doesn't appear you have discovered google's conflicting info.
