What were you trying to connect to?

The website usually works in Linux, just once in a while it won't activate the submit button. Even though I try it several times. I tried chrome, no joy. --glenn

Access Corrections, send money to an inmate. It's just there because that's what the computer came with. I haven't bothered to delete it because I don't need the disk space. --glenn

I have not used WIndows 11, it's just there because once in a while I find that something does not work in a web browser on Linux.

Laptop keyboards aren't so bad, it's the touchpad that makes me crazy. The first thing I do is disable it and plug in my trusty mouse. Much better ;) --glenn

A Linux install will remove Windows if that is what you select. otherwise it will install beside Windows and set up a dual boot. --glenn

Yeah, I'm perfectly happy with 8 1/2 hours.

I got 8 1/2 hours battery on my HP Envy 15-fh0xxx laptop and it was only down to 20%. I'm not going to run Windoze for hours just to see what the battery life is, It just don't matter cause I don't run Windoze. --glenn

Good on ya for making donations. I think I've donated to Debian three times now and once to timeshift. It's the least we can do to say thank you to the folks that make Linux possible. It's wonderful to have an alternative to Windoze. Carry on and enjoy your Linux. --glenn

I don't reinstall my system unless something happens to screw it up, and a timeshift restore doesn't fix it. Which means almost never. Gotta love timeshift. I have home on a separate partition so it survives an install, best way to go. --glenn

I find a few modifications are necessary to make Gnome usable. If you load the Gnome shell extensions there is an application menu that you can turn on. Also there is an extension called dash to dock that moves the dock from the activities menu to the main desktop. With those modifications...
