    Laptop keyboards aren't so bad, it's the touchpad that makes me crazy. The first thing I do is disable it and plug in my trusty mouse. Much better ;) --glenn

    I got 8 1/2 hours battery on my HP Envy 15-fh0xxx laptop and it was only down to 20%. I'm not going to run Windoze for hours just to see what the battery life is, It just don't matter cause I don't run Windoze. --glenn

    Good on ya for making donations. I think I've donated to Debian three times now and once to timeshift. It's the least we can do to say thank you to the folks that make Linux possible. It's wonderful to have an alternative to Windoze. Carry on and enjoy your Linux. --glenn

    How often do you reinstall system?

    I don't reinstall my system unless something happens to screw it up, and a timeshift restore doesn't fix it. Which means almost never. Gotta love timeshift. I have home on a separate partition so it survives an install, best way to go. --glenn

    Solved GNOME desktop environment

    I find a few modifications are necessary to make Gnome usable. If you load the Gnome shell extensions there is an application menu that you can turn on. Also there is an extension called dash to dock that moves the dock from the activities menu to the main desktop. With those modifications...
