Out of curiosity, are you trying this on bare metal or vm?

Usually after selecting desktop you should get a window to enter user info.

I finally managed to work it out. It was an issue with other software fighting with gnome dependencies. I removed all custom software and got it to work. I will have to re add software one by one to pinpoint what exact software it was. That's gonna take a while. Marking thread as solved. when I...
