There's no new article at Linux Tips today. In fact, there will never be more articles at that domain. The site is moving.

Thank you :D I just got a kick out of that the first time I saw it, and I thought that it would be a shame to lose it.

Pleeeeease tell me that you'll keep the "smash a button" thing...

That's it. I've officially decided to return to using Windows!

Anymore, IE is nearly done--I forget when EOL us, but Microsoft is moving everything to the new Edge.

I've been playing with a new (to me) browser.

Probably due to all of the sandboxing. This is probably off topic, but I actually purged my Ubuntu installation of snap, and I've not regretted it once. My system runs faster, and I didn't even really use snaps. Besides, the only snap that I might want is an app that I can build myself if I want.

I've been playing with a new (to me) browser.

Electron isn't a language, it's basically a full browser engine used to run "web apps" as desktop apps. It tends to use lots of system resources and can otherwise be a pain. I'm not going to reject software due to the language, but I don't want Electron.

I read the homepage and was rather impressed until I saw... Turned me off immediately.

I'd really enjoy some community participation!

But... But... Why not? It gives me such a thrill! :p

It's time for a poll. How long have you used Linux?

In fact, it's kinda opposite a bell curve. Hmm...

There... I have finally done my introduction thread!

    Pete's friend, of course. :p

It's time for a poll. How long have you used Linux?

I should note that my vote (1 - 1.5 yr) applies to my "daily driver" use only. I actually fooled around with VMs, Live CDs, and installs on older computers before I actually ended up switching to Linux full-time.

What can and can't Linux Respin Do?

Run your own apt package server.

    Gremlins in using the Terminal.

Ah, looks like you added a space after MX (and Salix as well). Try running mv 'MX ' MX and then cd'ing into MX as usual.

    I confess.....MS WIN10

Use WIIIIIIIINE........................ Wine just works for me (on the rare occasions that I actually use it).

I want to compile some code on a Linux ARM machine and then pack it into an easier to use installer. (Please suggest a resource to read)

I'd suggest reading about AppImages and Flatpak. Also, for Qt-based applications (since I'm a huge fan of Qt), there is linuxdeployqt, which might need some tweaking before it works for your use-case.

    Installing Games

The OP clearly stated that: So probably Chrome OS.

    Learning 'C'.

Don't run the C file, run the produced executable (probably a.out).

    JingOS

All right, I did a brief-ish test today, and here's my take on it: JingOS is currently using Plasma Mobile for the interface. They claim that they will replace it with their own desktop environment soon, however. They also seem to have stolen some of Plasma Mobile's apps for themselves. Very...

    My first Linux Application

As far as the"low to no code" approach, that's not something you'll really be able to find. Most toolkits require at least some coding. I personally can recommend using Qt. It's cross platform, free for open source, and intuitive to use. Plus, if you want the drag-and-drop style interface...

Copy and paste in the terminal - Debian

Some terminals support Ctrl-Shift-C for copy and Ctrl-Shift-V for paste. Konsole is a prime example of this.
