I need help on installing linux..

Well, I was also thinking this effort is a bit misplaced. New linux users are great. Love em. But when the OP posted asking where the exe file was, I wasn't enthusiastic about the chances of this ending well. Linux requires its users to take a bit more responsibility, for good or ill. So I...

    Which Linux should I choose?

Back in the day when 64 bit was new, they did ship with 32 bit windows. So don't just check the os, use a hardware utility to confirm your cpu architecture. This is indeed important as not all distros support 32 bit these days. However, I'm 99 percent sure Core 2 is all 64. I just installed...

    More disk mounting problems.....

Try running fsck to see if the error message actually means what it says. Stranger things have happened. ;) Lol. I don't mean to be a jerk. I've myself tried everything under the sun except the obvious. Many times. Since you didn't say you checked the fs, I thought I'd mention it.

How to Install FFmpeg on Debian 10

Why in the world do you say so? Root account can do all you suggest. The user need not be in the sudoers file. Just because rootless systems are common in this post-Ubuntu world, that doesn't mean it must be done that way. Installing software requires administrative privileges. I'd word it...
