    The method explained in the article solved my problem. It was a play between AHCI (Linux but no Windows) and RAID (Windows but no Linux). Now I have a GRUB with both of them up and running. A big thanks to you and all the people who contributed to this thread. Very much obliged. Cheers! Proshka

    I agree with you. Interestingly, I just managed to run the Dell Recovery OS utility from BIOS and it says everything is fine. A false negative maybe?
