I need to install geogebra 5 (instead of version 6) I download geogebra 5 from https://www.geogebra.org/download?lang=de I clicked on the deb-file. It comes an answer in the repository like "installation failed file is not supported". Does anybody know how to suceed?

I get something back: information about geogebra 4.0

I already installed I get something like "invalid operation" in german (Ungültige Operation)

I was wrong, the version in Windows is also a "classis" version. But how I wrote it's a version 5. On the GeoGebra Page I read something about trouble shooting of version 4. So my new aim is maybe to get version installed on ubuntu.

Now I removed it.

I searched for GeoGebra in repository. I found it and clicked install.

Hello! I installed GeoGebra on ubuntu 21.04. But I doesn't start after clicking on GeoGebra Item it. It doesn't start too when I click on an ggb-file. I don't have much experience with ubuntu. Does anybody know what could be the problem?

Solved the "problem". First: there is a difference between the "overall purple screen"-problem (see attachment) und my "mascot on purple screen"-problem. I'm ashamed for the solution to my problem: the was no freezen screen and no freezen installation. The display connection of my t430 is broke...

I moved with this topic to ubuntu subforum. But want to mention, that I forgot to mention, that have no linux installed and so think I don't have a grub menu and stuff that's most of the very advises doesn't work for me. But I thank yo all for trying to help me!!
