Change default DNS and name of the file system

How do I change from 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4 to something else? There are 3 listed when issuing nmcli dev show | grep DNS I entered the ones that I want to "Addtional DNS servers" but doesn't work. Did a nmcli dev show | grep DNS. It still showed 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and another one. Why are...

Brave is not in the repository

The question is a combination of the subject and the question "Why are there users using Brave and giving rave reviews and suggestions?" So I should revise that, Brave is not in the repository, why are there users using Brave and not say Brave is different and can be retrieved that way. No...

Brave is not in the repository

Why are there users using it and giving rave reviews and suggestions? This question is only referring to Mint and not other Operating Systems. Asked but have never gotten an answer about what's the difference between using the CLI to transport and getting it directly from the repository? At...

    Why Librewolf is not mentioned?

I did sudo apt install firejail. It still shows 9.62; it didn't upgrade the version to 9.66 I guess it would then be a "never mind" case for firejail when using LW. Should I wipe out my Mint and redo? The system seems messy now.

    Why Librewolf is not mentioned?

So the important theme here that everyone has been saying so many times is that nothing should be retrieved outside and anything outside can't be trusted. You can only trust what is in the repositories. So Brave is not in the repositories. So it would make sense to put Brave in the repositories...

    Why Librewolf is not mentioned?

I was able to use Firejail Librewolf when I had the appimage. I deleted the appimage and got LW from the flatpak. I got the same errors as the following before: https://linux.org/threads/firejail-librewolf-error.36406/ When issuing the terminal command "firejail librewolf", the first lines of...

    Why Librewolf is not mentioned?

No one here is recommending Librewolf browser from the following post: https://linux.org/threads/is-online-banking-secure-on-mint-20-2.36700/ Is it because of the appimage? Is it as safe as what is provided in the repositories.
