A few months back I installed on my almost 10 year old laptop Linux Mint. Everything worked great until recently, maybe 1 or 2 months, my browsers are extremely laggy, chrome and firefox. My wifi connection disconnects and reconnects several times within an hour. Videos take forever to play...
I ran smartctl
reallocated_sector_ct shows a raw value of 0.
current_pending_sector shows a raw value of 48.
i did research on that: 0 is good and over 0 is bad... over 0 indicates harddrive failure is near. now i am trying a way to fix that
I cancelled it, because almost one hour passed and nothing happened anymore... i tried some other things but without success, like deleting cache, deleting old kernels

yeah, I have done that, everything is in german except user interface, because in the dropdown menu is only english, but I guess I will have to install the language package as one mentioned in the comment section

when I go to libre office-tools-options-language settings-languages I can see User interface and in the dropdown menu there is only english.
is it possible to add german?
