    Disks Unmounting Issues

Got back from dialysis and it's same stuff different day. I'll check Amazon and see if they have a better power supply, only thing that may put a wrench in the the machinery is that the computer is one notch up from small format...may not fit. If not I'll deal with the unmounting issue

    Disks Unmounting Issues

This only started within the last month, other than that I've had no issues with Linux ever, it's an amazing system. I'll check everything when I get back from dialysis if they don't mess with me to bad. When they do I get so light headed I wouldn't remember my name..Then dialysis sucks.

    Disks Unmounting Issues

I did just now switch to the never state for inactivity. And you may very well be on to something with the power supply. 5 of the 11 are actual hard drives with one of them being the internal that came with the PC, the others are USB Sticks.

    Disks Unmounting Issues

It's ALL drives, whether it is the internal hard drive, external SSD drives, or USB sticks, it has no preference, they are all unmounted. No big issues getting them back, just right click and mount. It's only been doing it for 3 weeks, so that made me think it was maybe from an update. I do...

    Networking

I'm thinking this may be an easy one for those in the know, I'm not in that group. I have 2 Dell computers, a laptop and a desk top. The desktop has a SSD that is loaded with music. I want to be able to access this drive from the laptop. Both have the same Linux Mint Cinnamon so it's...

    It's me again...Run

I searched, this looks like the most logical place to start this thread. My sister gave me her old Kindle Fire..probably 5 years old. Anyway I'm just totally happy with Linux as an OS the more I learn it. So...how much of a pain is it to replace whatever system Kindle has with Linux? Is it even...

I'd take you up on the offer, my sister is a hard core reader 2 books @ week. Just tough concentrating, background noise is terrible, people hacking, and whining and such. Nurses preaching on how I need to change my diet...not happening after 70 years. Damage is done and won't repair itself...

Phone has crap connection at dialysis center, even when connected to their Wi-Fi. And very little eye candy.

No, long story there. Back in high school we had mandatory reading...one was Great Expectations, never picked up a book after that.

I should, but I have a lack of free time. Been at it 6 hours today, kinda brain dead now. And dialysis first thing in the morning that's 6 hours shot in the butt. After 4 or 5 hours working on the new install I lose concentration and find it better to take a break.
