    Hi, that's a thought. I've used several 3D programs in the past - Sweet Home 3D being own of them. Just that I've been working on SketchUp PRO since 2007. Easy enough till you get to the very technical stuff. Easy to fool myself in thinking it was super easy way back. Will see what works...

    Thanks everyone! Have worked some on blender before - nice that it has it's own render machine. Saves me from worrying about more software which may or may not work on Linux. For now, will just have to get acquainted with the Linux UI
