Update on DIscord. I tested it on Linux, and was not having any problems running it. However, the problem still persists on WIndows. Why, I don't know. It will run for a while, then I sound like a chipmunk...drivers, maybe? Still planning a new build in the near future.

Looked for information on how to test the mic. Found a lot of information on using the commands to do this. I also looked in the Software Manager for audio programs like a voice chat. I found a program called Audacity, which is supposed to be for recordings, I think. I am downloading it right...

Is there a gui or command in Mint to open up Alsa? As I said, I can see the entries listed as installed, but I don't know how to run them.

I went in to look for Alsa on Linux Mint, and found the entries. They look like they are already installed, however. If they are, how do I get to these applications to use them?
