I nuked Manjaro today, and I noticed an interesting thing. My Kubuntu partition was sda7, and remained sda7. Now I have no sda6 at all. And I have no booting issues, either.

Thanks guys, it's not really a matter of programming my keyboard, it's more a matter of the keyboard getting confused sometimes. A reboot usually will get that led light to behave properly. Just wondering is there is another way to fix it, besides rebooting. This issue crops up randomly.

That is in fact what I did, and it offered me 21.04, but the upgrade to 21.04 gave me grief. I think chances of success are better if I go from 20.04 to 20.10, and then from 20.10 to 21.04. Baby steps. The problem is I don't know how to get an upgrade to 20.10. Or maybe I just have to be patient...

Apparently it was a corrupted snapshot, or a good snapshot of a corrupted system. That's okay when you have lots of snapshots. :)

Still messing around with it. I got to the point where I could boot into Ubuntu 21.04 recovery mode. I couldn't boot into Ubuntu normally because it said I needed to load the kernel first.
