A second vote for libreoffice. The suite has matured nicely. You can participate in its development too, ex. creating templates, macros, styles, etc. The obasic macro language is good.

Why not both? Many dual boot or use virtual installs (qemu, vbox, xen). I use the latter. If you're committed to Steam, they have their own os.
