    Five Little squares That Appear On My Screen

    I have 19.10. When I launch the program I get 5 little squares in the middle of my screen that have dots that appear one after the other and keeps repeating. This happened before and I reloaded the program a couple of times and it went away. But now it is back. Thanks

    Connecting to internet with Ubuntu 8.04.1

    How do I get onto the internet with Ubuntu 8.04.1? Why you might ask for such an old version. I downloaded 19.04 to a DVD but it won't run. 8.04.1 did load and run but I don't have a clue on what to do to get on the internet. Thanks
