    Switching to Linux soon

Mint is most definitely an option i'm looking at. I'm not too big of a fan of the interface, but i could get used to anything given time. I did a bit of research and one big suggestion that is popping out to me is Deepin. People are saying that it's a good choice for first time linux users...

    Switching to Linux soon

I've made one or two post about this in the past, but i have gotten unbelievably tired of windows being so slow, intrusive and buggy; and i did a whole myriad of research a while back into more distros than i can count. But unfortunately with the quarantine i lost my job and couldn't get a new...

Planning to switch to linux for everyday computer

thank you. all i'm really looking for is a good looking OS that's user friendly. Solus budgie does look like the one i am most likely to choose, but i know there's a ton of distros so i'm still on the fence.

Planning to switch to linux for everyday computer

it just ran out of juice. the battery is dead. i gave away the only charger i had when i gave my friend another thinkpad as a birthday present. i just need a new charger, but this quarantine is making it difficult to scrounge up the money and actually get the post office to cooperate.

Planning to switch to linux for everyday computer

Windows is getting unbelievably intrusive, and it's seriously annoying how long it takes to open a simple jpeg image with how many processes are running at once. I've looked through distrotest.net for good looking, fast distros and I'm still undecided, but i've got my eye on Solus Budgie. i...

    Looking for suggestions

It's a 64 bit Dell Latitude E5430. sorry about that, it's late here so i'm forgetful. from all the work i used to do on other latitude E5430's at my school i've found that most everything works on these computers, but there could always be that outlier that breaks the norm. If you need any more...

    Looking for suggestions

In my last post that i made, i was a bit quick-triggered at asking about distros, but since then I've had my friend explain a little bit more. I'm still completely out of the loop in terms of what distros do what. All I'm asking for this time is suggestions of distros that are user friendly and...
