There are many, many that they didn't mention.

So, I say keep up the good work - in naming some they missed, either that you like or just happen to know exissts.

And, I've never used micro or moe. I'm a nano kinda guy, with a very limited ability in Vim due to lack of consistent use.

Micro is my favorite general purpose editor. Uses the most common keybindings found in gui based editors.

I found that there is an issue with the version in the Ubuntu repos (*buntu, Mint), that it is apparently compiled with debug enabled. This causes it to create a log.txt file in every directory from which it is launched. The Debian version, and derivatives, however do not suffer this. I haven't checked if it's still an issue with the new Ubuntu 22.04.

There's a lot of them, in my day job as programmer sometimes I have to program inside busybox or routers (not always root). In those cases, usually only something like vim is available at best. While vim has a steep learning curve, these days it's easier to learn vim by practice or playing

Vim has been my go to editor for years.
I have a soft spot for emacs too.
And if I want a more IDE-like experience I’ll run vim inside a tmux session.
