Hello guys,
I get the error message when booting:
[ 0.147721) ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_SB.PCOO.X HCI.RHUB.HS10._UPC), AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20230628/dswload2-326)

I tried it with Debian 12.6 and Kali Linux 2024.2 and got the same error message with both.
Windows 11 works fine.

My notebook;
HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop
16-aa0xxx
Intel Core Ultra 7 155H3H
32GB

I have already tried in the grub parameter with acpi=off as well as ht, without success.

Can anyone help me?
Many thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums,
did you disable both windows quick-start and windows safe boot, then do a full power re boot [not via the windows shut down menu] before you attempted to install
as you appear to be a Linux novice, don't forget to read all the documents and release notes for your distribution before you start ant installation and forget Kali until you have some experience under your belt

Not sure if this applies to you, but if your computer runs normally after boot, you can ignore these so-called errors. For more info, read this link about them, and it will also tell you how to suppress them from being shown. (I'm assuming you have Linux installed, and this is not a live session).

And Brickwizard gave you some good advice to follow.

Hello everyone,
I want to have Debian as the only operating system on my notebook.
During the boot process it hangs and displays the error message - so I can boot Debian.
It also no longer responds to the error message.
When I boot Live Parrot OS via USB, everything works perfectly.

Also, as this machine is under a year old, I suggest you start with MX-Linux -AHS, as it has a larger collection of new drivers than most.

I want to have Debian as the only operating system on my notebook.
you will still need to follow my instructions in the post #2

When I boot Live Parrot OS via USB, everything works perfectly
Parrot uses a newer Linux kernel [so dose MX] than Debian 12

I find that fedora also works well with new equipment. It is kept up to date that way. plus just because you see an error message does not mean there is an error. Many distros try various things when one does not work. so seeing error messages is not unusual and still work fine.

Also
n the BIOS Security section there is a checkbox:

Intel Software Guard Extension (SGX)

Set it to Enable (instead of Disable or Software defined

Ok thanks all.
Parrot OS works as an operating system, that's enough for me.
Error message is still displayed but it now boots into the OS

If you are using Parrot 6.1 then it's a recent release, and we still have a few bugs that need fixing [but nothing too important] , my own installation occasionally throws up an odd error, just make sure you install all updates when offered,
