hello first of all, I would like to say that I am very sad and disappointed because I installed linux. After installing Linux Mint, it asked me to restart, and then the boot menu did not appear, only a screen called BOOT MENU. Even though I select all of them one by one, nothing changes, I can only boot linux mint live usb from bios
i can't boot my windows or the linux mint please help me guys ):

Lots of possible causes, corrupt download, bad burn of the ISO, not setting up your machine correctly before you started,
First read my how to install guide [in my signature below] and use it as a basic checklist
if you made your usb installation using Rufus [which is known to have problems with some linux versions] try Etcher instead

sir I don't want to download linux again because someone told me that GRUB won't work on old computers (my laptop is 2010 model) so dual boot won't work on my machine
all I want is to boot my old windows (installed on C: drive)

Welcome, I don't know who told you that, I have older computers than that running Multiboot set ups [one is a 2001 32 bit acer] its not a problem if you do it correctly. I haven't used Windows for a daily drive for around 20 yrs, so I have found this on line..

Before following the methods below make sure you unplug any external devices attached to the computer except the mouse and the keyboard.
Method 1: Perform system restore from recovery console.
Refer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/What-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7
Method 2: Since the Startup Repair option does not resolve the issue, you must troubleshoot more steps manually, use the Bootrec.exe tool.

Follow the instructions from the link below;
How to use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows

Hello @chips,
Welcome to the Linux.org Forums, I'm sure you will find the help you need here. But follow @Brickwizard's advise. You should have no problem getting that machine to dual boot. Which version of Mint are you trying to use?
