AMD Radeon RX 5600M

Hi,

Recently upgrade my computer into a MSI Alpha 15 A4DEK-015FR to be able to play Cyberpunk haha. And i do, on a windows10 os.

I am a Mint user for quite some times now, and i had a bad surprise when i saw that the graphic driver didn't exist yet on linux. So, my Linux partition for my everyday use can't be used, it's not running properly..
I asked AMD and MSI about that driver, both said they don't plan to make it, And i should ask Linux. So, i do .
The chipset is AMD Radeon RX 5600M.

Anyone can help me with this issue ?

Umm, maybe. There's this review. He ran into a hiccup, but it seemed to work alright.

I read Cyberpunk is still full of bugs on Windows, even though it seems to run on proton you might as well wait till all the bugs are fixed wouldn't be surprised if that takes another year.

There is a PPA for AMD Drivers if you are interested

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers

sudo apt update

sudo apt upgrade

Reboot you should have the latest AMD Drivers

A first patch (9 GO) was released this week, i do see fews minor bugs but it's fine. I'll look into proton thanks

By the way, my laptop is working just fine on Manjaro !
