Looking for a free version of Linux based PLC software to use on my pi or arduino to kill time

I seen that . The issue is the programming software. I want something that is similar to the industrial grade, like rslogix....

I was looking to build a plc.trainer with a pi or arduino. I am wondering is there any Linux based PLC programming software that is ladder logic similar to rs logix Allen Bradley

The OpenPLC project supports ladder logic and a number of other options!
Might be worth downloading it and giving it a good go.

I used to use ladderlogic on MSDOS.
I might be able to dig out one of my old floppy disks with it on and if it’s ok, I’ll see if it will run on Linux in Dosbox.....

Codesys is a commercial grade PLC runtime that runs in Linux. Many PLC use Codesys in there products.
