I'm considering installing a rolling distro on my laptop in place of Kubuntu and I'm wondering what the main differences are between Arch and Void. I dug up the following already:
  • Arch has more packages (?)
  • Arch is more bleeding-edge
Anything I'm missing? Also, if Arch has more packages, are the ones that Void doesn't have going to be mission-critical for the average user? I read that it's not hard to build a missing package for Void. Can anyone confirm or deny this? [Edit: I looked at a package file for Void and it appears to be pretty simple.]

TIA.

Pick one. Learn it. Then worry about some other distro. You'll be miles ahead in terms of knowing Linux.
