Bash Script - bat.sh - Battery Statistics

This is likely not to be of much use for most of you, except maybe for a bit of learning.

I have a battery applet on my taskbar. I keep my taskbar hidden because screen real estate is important to me. When I'm working in the terminal, using the mouse to access my applet feels clunky, and tends to disturb my flow. I work in the terminal quite a bit.

Today, I decided to build a simple, but informative script to display my battery statistics. Yes, I know, I can use acpi and download other battery apps, yada yada ... But what's the fun in that?

I have 4 laptops; 3 HP and 1 Lenovo. They all have something different about the battery hardware, like the battery id (BAT0, BAT1), or the actual stats that can be extracted. For my laptops, this has been accounted for in the script.

Here is a sample output:

The output doesn't show that the script also colorizes the values based on thresholds.
