Solved bind9-dnsutils vs dnsutils package in debian

Both packages provide same tools (I only need dig):

Debian -- Details of package dnsutils in bookworm

Debian -- Details of package bind9-dnsutils in bookworm

The only difference I see is that dnsutils will install bind9-dnsutils as dependency, but not the other way around (bind9-dnsutils won't install dnsutils.

So what's the difference between the two?

dnsutils - is only a transitional package. It can safely be removed.
