Hi everyone! I just joined Linux because I've been trying to burn a mix CD for the last two hours (its very important to me that I get this done) and my computer just will not allow it. My friend told me he uses Linux to do this so I'm giving it a shot, but I'm having a hard time navigating the site and finding the information I need. Could anyone PLEASE help me get this done? Thank you so much

A mix CD.

What is the target for these songs? A computer, a car?
What is the player for these songs? MP3, WMA, M4A, or something else.

If you're looking for programs to burn CD/DVD - k3b or xfburn should do it. Personally I prefer xfburn for that task.

if you are converting a MP3 into CDDA (Compact Disc Digital Audio) which is like a regular Audio CD you buy at the store I use Brasero to do this - you can also use XFBurn or K3b as well to convert into CDDA format
