When you are booted in Linux Mint Live, can you open a terminal and share the output of the following.
Code:
lsblk

Well, it appears your hardrive has failed, and crucial config files are not readable.

In your live environment you open a terminal and run the following.
Code:
sudo apt install util-linux
lsblk

No it is not a lost cause, the files can be recovered. You need an adapter that can read the drive externally and a computer running the same operating system that you had. Recovering linux data is trickier because of the format. If you are unable to read it externally, you should try contacting a data recovery specialist.

Ok, thank yoou :( I see if anybody can suggest something else. Thank you all for reading and replying.

I'd open "Disks", see if the drive is in there, and use that to check the file system. I grabbed a quick and dirty screenshot of me using the live Mint in a virtual machine.

Unfortunatelly, I don't seem to have 'disks' there. I have found g part.

Strange that it can't find lsblk on your system, can you share the output of the following from the Linux Mint live environtment.
Code:
dmesg | grep sda

Can you try the following and share the output, instead of sharing a screenshot could you share the output in text?
Code:
sudo fsck.ext4 /dev/sda1

ok, it says:
e2fsck 1.41.12 (17-May-2010)
/dev/sda1 has unsupported feature(s): 64bit FEATURE_R10
e2fsck: get a newwer version of e2fsck!
