Hello..
I've an old notebook with Pentium B950 2.1 Ghz, 2MB processor running Windows 7. A few Months ago, I had it as multi boot system where I tried almost hundred of Linux distros and I had not been facing any issues. then I decided to wipe the drive and Installed Windows 7. After installing Windows 7, I cant install and even run live media of Linux in any way. What it seems is there is no taskbar, no desktop icon, nothing at all, whatever Linux distro would it be. Current Windows 7 is in 64bit and I've tried Ubuntu 16.04 64bit, Ubuntu 14.04.4 64bit, Mint Tessa 64bit, Manjaro KDE 64bit and Deepin 64bit, I also tried running 32bit Mint but the results are same with all of those.
I've tried resetting BIOS, no work, Disabling UEFI boot, no work. there is no option for secure boot in my BIOS and my Windows 7 is installed in MBR partition.
I've checked my hdd with a different Laptop, works well.
there are no new hardware i've installed any. I want help from you guys, I want to use Linux on the Laptop as primary OS. Please Help.
Note: Though there are no taskbar and any items on the desktop at all,Right click works and Alt+Ctrl+t brings the terminal.
Thanks
