I need to install a software called QCMA but I simply cannot even though I directly follow the instructions on the website.

When I attempt to install the deb package, I get "Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libvitamtp5 (>= 2.5.5)".

I still cannot install it even I follow the second path ("Add repository and install manually"). When I run the command
sudo sh -c "echo 'deb /' > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/home:codestation.list"
, I get no feedback. After that, I run the following lines:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install qcma
. This time, I encounter this message:
E: Unable to locate package qcma

I'd really use some help,
Thank you.

sudo sh -c "echo 'deb /' > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/home:codestation.list"
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install qcma

3 separate enter after each one

Give it a try

EDIT...just noticed ...mine appears to whatever you already had.......did you enter them (COPY AND PASTE )separately and press Enter after each one ?

You may have to wait for someone better versed than me !

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created

The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Have you added the key?

You can add the repository key to apt. Keep in mind that the owner of the key may distribute updates, packages and repositories that your system will trust (more information). To add the key, run:
wget -nv -O Release.key
sudo apt-key add - < Release.key
sudo apt-get update
- source

Run this command in a Terminal
sudo apt-key add - < Release.key

It might shout for a keyring.
