I am using KDE5 on Debian. When I created the first user accounts I was using Debian 10, but after upgrading to Debian 11 I created more users and I noticed that some colors and such changed and I was not allowed to modify them. I can modify colors for other stuff, but I can't change the colors for the widget/task bar on the bottom of the screen or the menu bar on the top of the screen, even with an admin account. Do I need some kind of theme editor instead? I really don't like the medium grey color used by my current KDE theme.
I also lost access to the windows key which pulls up the menu from the little Debian circle icon on the widget/task bar. Some accounts can use this while others can't. That menu uses the same background color as the widget/task bar and menu bar.
On another note, how can I find out how many vertical pixels the title bar uses? I have a monitor resolution of 1920x1200 and I've been thinking about adjusting the height of the task and menu bars so I would have 1920x1080 after accounting for the title bar.
Signed,
Matthew Campbell
