I am trying to install Citrix on Manjaro MATE, using the following command has worked flawlessly on XFCE, GNOME, KDE, and Cinnamon

Code:
yay -S icaclient --noconfirm

But on MATE and Budgie I receive the above error. Any thoughts?

This forum was really helpful. After first installing yay, I then used...

yay -S icaclient --noconfirm

and Citrix then installed properly, but I had the certificate issue with 0.0.0.2 (idk why Citrix doesn't fix this because it's been a problem for so long), so I used this link...

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Citrix

and was able to fix the certificates and now it works great.

Putting this out here again! The Wizard provided a link last time I ran into this problem so I looked up this post hoping to find the answer, but the link is dead. Trying to install Citrix ICA Client on Manjaro KDE (latest ed). I get an error message saying "cannot find the fake root binary"

You need the fakeroot package, it's part of the the group base-devel. You will probably need more of the development package to build PKGBUILDS from the AUR so I would suggest just installing the group.
Code:
sudo pacman -S base-devel
