Hello
i have to copy my Video *.mkv to a local Disk as backup and a new destination VM
the source is a VM the destination will be anther VM on a different Hardware

so i cut and paste the directorys the file inside ist 4.2GiB - a lot's it is possible just to move it, other häng at the end telling they can't write - this is not correct because a empft txt file or the Video Cover will move without problem

i do the copy over my Laptop with Debian and use Dolphin.

why this happen?
why in dolphin i can't create a tar file on the remote VM?

have a nice day
vinc

Copy it using terminal and don't do anything until it finishes. Sounds like your hardware isn't powerful enough to handle you doing other tasks while copying large files.
