Dash to Dock Glitch

Hi,
I recently added the dash to dock gnome shell extension. After a while, I decided that I didn't really like it, so I disabled it. However the look of it hasn't changed. I tried uninstalling the extension and restarting my computer but nothing changed, what should i do?
(The first picture is how it looked before installing dash to dock and the second one is how it looks now)

... because if/when we get your desktop back to normal, you are well advised to install Timeshift and take a snapshot, before introducing software from outside your Repositories (and sometimes even inside them, lol) - your choice, of course.
