Which kind of hosting will you prefer and why?

Dedicated all the time..

Shared hosting is like living in a hotel. You have neighbors that could be noisy (using your resources mem/cpu), you have neighbors that may not take security seriously (and end up getting the box hacked), etc..

Dedicated hosting is like having your own house - you make the rules and it's as secure as you want it to be. Plus, you're the only one using the resources.
