External monitor blank cursor blicks

Hi all,
after installing Debian 12 and connected external monitor, the external monitor is blank but the cursor is visible. I read that, it could be due to drivers not being updated or not installed.
I would appreciate if anyone has experienced similar problem and how talked it.
Any suggestion/recommendation is highly appreciated.

I would like to change the language.

you should be able to do that in languages usually found under preferences

If you are logging in from a text prompt and run a .xinitrc, or .xsession or .xsessionrc file, you can specify the language with a line like:
export LANG=en_GB.UTF-8
or
export LANG=en_US.UTF-8
depending on which version of English is preferred.
