Disable the program you are using to display it or disable it in your monitor's settings by pressing a physical button and then going through your monitor's menu settings.

this is in all video, games program
Then you have to press a physical button on your monitor to get into the settings menu of your monitor, from there you should be able to find a setting that gives you the option to turn that off. Just go through all the settings of your monitor and you will eventually find the setting that turns that off.

Do you have an external monitor connected to your laptop?

Then the only thing I can think of that it's a setting in your BIOS/UEFI that is turn on to display that because it's not a Linux setting that DE's provide by default. So since you aren't using an external monitor it's most likely a setting in your BIOS/UEFI and if it's not there you could try looking in nvidia-settings if there is an option for it there.

Then it was probably placed there by nvidia-settings because if you had that and the nvidia drivers installed because when editing the settings with nvidia-settings that file is edited.
